Every year, I offer several group workshops during peak wedding season. These sessions are perfect for couples who want a simple routine and/or who are interested in the “Coffee & Cake” package (two private lessons), or for couples who have a busy schedule and can’t commit to private lessons during the week.
Offered at an offsite location, typically Move Studio in Plaza Midwood, these group workshops are super fun, non-judgmental and a great way to get ready for your first dance in one weekend. The workshops are limited to five couples so each couple gets individualized attention and we cycle through each couple’s first dance song throughout the workshop.
You’ll leave the workshop with a complete routine that you can simply practice leading up to your wedding. (Done and done!)
If available, some couples choose to add on a private lesson after the group workshop for more individualized attention. We can spend the private lesson adding more steps and moves to the routine you learned during the workshop, or spend the time polishing your dance and adjusting any areas where you might be struggling.
COVID Policy: Based on the current guidance from local and national officials, I'm asking that we mask up for the workshops. My two-year-old daughter's pediatrician has also recommended taking all of the precautions as she is seeing vaccinated parents spread the virus to their children. Additionally, many couples will be participating in a workshop close to their wedding date, and I would hate for any of you to test positive before traveling to your wedding or honeymoon.

I recommend signing up for a group workshop in the month before your wedding so you have time to practice. If you are considering adding on a private lesson, I would recommend booking that lesson at the same time as the group workshop so you can ensure there are times available.

*Please note: I must have a minimum of three couples signed up a week in advance in order to host a group workshop. If, for some reason, the group workshop that you signed up for does not happen, I will work with you to apply your deposit to either an online tutorial or a private lesson.
